Greetings!
And welcome to spring!
I sure hope that everyone is having as glorious a spring as we are having here in Central Ohio.

Two weeks ago, I entered these three paintings into
a contest
on Plein Air Artists website.

"White Wedding" • 6" x 12" • Oil on Panel
Maybe it's because I kissed the Blarney Stone in 1989,
or climbed Croagh Patrick, or maybe it's because I had the best Guinness ever in County, Wexford.
Whatever the reason, I won the prize: 8 nights for two at Whites Hotel.

plus my entry fee paid for the
5th Art in the Open Plein Air Competition!

"English Rose" aka "Hampton Court Rose Garden • 8" x 6" • Oil

Art in the Open
July 30 - August 7

The winner was announced on St. Patrick's Day.
My Irish husband, Martin, whose family is from County Mayo,
way on the other side of Ireland,
will be going with me!

"Cliffs of Moher" • 6" x 8" • Oil on Canvas

And here I am painting "Cliffs of Moher" from Doolin.
Until next time, I leave you with this quote from Carl Sagan:
"Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were.
But without it we go nowhere."

Thank you for you continued interest in my art.
